Hello creative people,
My name is Robert Jackson. I am a graphic design graduate from the Academy of Art University with more than 20 years experience in 3D modeling, animation and video game design; and I’m in the process of launching my own VR development studio called DangerZone-VR.
I’m interested in meeting people who share my passion for Virtual Reality and video game development and want to work together to create amazing and unique new experiences. My main interests in VR development are for creating games, films and educational applications.
I bring to the table an expertise in 3D character, object and environmental modeling & animation. I can create props or entire environments to include lighting and texturing, and can rig my models for animation and dynamic interaction in game engines such as Unity and the Unreal Engine.
I can program in C++, though I am most proficient programming in Unreal Blueprint Script. With Blueprints I have been able to code animation state machines, A.I. interaction and dialog systems, user interfaces and all manner of player interactions.
I am most proficient using the program 3DS Max for modeling but also have a good deal of experience using Maya and other similar programs. I used Reallusion’s Character Creator and iClone 7 to build and animate life-like highly detailed 3D characters; and have expertise in many other art programs to include Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter and Autodesk Mudbox.
In addition, I also experience editing video, building websites and computer networking. I am confident I would be an asset on any creative team and I’m very much looking forward to meeting and working with other like-minded people.
